Course Objectives:

In this course, it is aimed that students will be able to perform their academic skills in English.

Course Content:

It is aimed at developing mental skills such as reading, listening, writing and speaking. In this course, it is aimed that the students learn to understand parts of the text, to use the skills of fast and effective reading, to make connections between ideas in different texts, and to learn to use the texts as an effective resource to create a learning outcome by reading and listening to current texts. Speaking and writing skills include using resources, expressing an expression using other words, quoting, making a summary and synthesizing. Students taking this course will learn to write concise, informative or persuasive texts that support their ideas on a subject.
