Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is; To inform students about the interaction of light and light with material media, polarization, optical defects, optical systems and optical instruments.
Course Content:	Basic laws of electromagnetic theory, electromagnetic spectrum and radiation, wave and particle property of light, wave and its properties, laws of reflection and refraction, lenses, mirrors, prisms, optical systems, analytical ray drawing, interference and diffraction of light and optical defects.

13) As an optician, she/he knows the laws, regulations, legislation and professional ethical rules related to her/his duties, rights and responsibilities and acts in accordance with these rules.
14) Carries out a given task independently by using the basic knowledge he/she has in his/her field.
