Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is; to introduce the diseases of orthopedic and rheumatological patients who come to physiotherapy sessions to the students, to teach how to approach the treatment of these diseases and to help the physiotherapist. |
Course Content: | Introduction of the course; Fracture types, frequent fractures in the lower and upper extremities and physiotherapy interventions applied to these fractures; Adhesive capsulitis, impingment, rotator cuff and biceps tendinitis and physiotherapy interventions applied to these injuries; Arthroplasty applications and post-surgery physiotherapy interventions; Elbow, knee, foot and hand injuries and physiotherapy interventions applied to these injuries; Introduction and differences of OA and RA diseases, physiotherapy interventions applied to these diseases; Information about AS, SpA, SLE, PsA and Scleroderma; Approach to rheumatological diseases and patients with rheumatological diseases; Clinical case presentations of students. |
