Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to inform the student about the precision attachments used in prosthesis production.
Course Content:	Classification of precision holders. Precision holders inside the crown. Casting of precision crown holders. Non-crown precision holders. Ball holders. Locator holders. Bar holders. Telescopic holders (double crown technique). Construction of primary crowns. Milling of primary crowns. Construction of secondary crowns and skeletal substructure. Magnetic grippers.

Field Specific Competence
1) Can decide on the type of precision holders that can be used in partial dentures.
2) Interprets whether the precision holders recommended by the physician are suitable according to the size.
3) Can plan and apply the necessary precision retainer according to the condition of the existing teeth.
4) Interprets what is required to make the precision holder in the most accurate way.
5) Defines the sensitive holder type required for clinical applications of the removable prosthesis in communication with the dentist and in line with the patient's wishes.
