Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to inform the student about the precision attachments used in prosthesis production. |
Course Content: | Classification of precision holders. Precision holders inside the crown. Casting of precision crown holders. Non-crown precision holders. Ball holders. Locator holders. Bar holders. Telescopic holders (double crown technique). Construction of primary crowns. Milling of primary crowns. Construction of secondary crowns and skeletal substructure. Magnetic grippers. |
