Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to explain the concept of drug therapy, to introduce different drug types and to understand the pharmacological working principles of drugs on body systems. |
Course Content: | Basic pharmacology knowledge; pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics concepts; introduction and mechanism of action of drugs acting on autonomic nervous system, cardiovascular system, endocrine system and pulmonary system; knowledge of nonstreoid anti-inflammatory drugs; knowledge of opioid drugs, knowledge of skeletal muscle relaxant drugs; drug use in pregnancy and drug use for therapeutic purposes. |
