Profile of the Programme

Psychology PhD Program offers a comprehensive education for researchers who want to specialize in developmental psychology, experimental psychology and cognitive psychology. The program aims to address the cognitive and emotional processes of individuals from a developmental perspective, to examine these processes with experimental methods and to gain the ability to make scientific contributions. Students gain competence in analyzing cognitive functions in different periods of human development, designing experimental research and evaluating the data obtained in a scientific framework. Graduates, who are trained with the awareness of academic ethics and scientific responsibility, can follow current scientific developments in the field of developmental and cognitive psychology and use this knowledge for academic studies and social contributions.
