The Master's Program in Psychology at Istanbul Atlas University’s Graduate School of Education offers two specialization areas: Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology. Students choose one of these subfields to continue their graduate education. This program aims to train research-oriented and applied specialist psychologists equipped with advanced knowledge and skills in preserving, promoting, and improving psychological health at the individual, family, and societal levels. With the increasing challenges of social change, such as communication problems, psychological disorders, and alienation, there is a growing need for professionals who are well-informed, capable of independent decision-making, problem-solving, conducting research, publishing scientific work, and adhering to ethical values. This program is designed to cultivate such professionals. The course content is structured based on current and scientific research in psychology. Courses cover advanced topics in Developmental and Experimental Psychology and are taught by experienced faculty members actively engaged in scientific research. This distinguished academic staff provides students with a comprehensive education, enabling them to develop expertise in their respective fields.
