Profile of the Programme

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, one of four departments within the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture at Istanbul Atlas University, began its education in the 2021-2022 academic year.

The program curriculum is designed to comply with ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). To graduate, students must complete a total of 240 ECTS credits over eight semesters. The primary objective of the program is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and professional abilities necessary for their careers.

The program utilizes various assessment methods, including midterm exams, homework assignments, presentations, projects, and final exams. Assessment methods may include traditional exams, multiple-choice exams, homework assignments, performance evaluations, and product evaluations. 70% attendance is required to participate in the final exams. A minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 is required for graduation.

The Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Program: It aims to train professionals who closely follow technology, can accurately interpret the requirements of the age, are open to lifelong learning and self-improvement, have high personal awareness, are sensitive to the environment, have high responsibility, cooperation and leadership skills, and have an innovative and original perspective.
