| Dental Prosthesis Technology Program Educational Objectives (PEA) PEA – 1: To educate qualified graduates who are able to plan, implement, and evaluate dental prosthesis and appliance production processes in accordance with scientific principles. PEA – 2: To train technical healthcare professionals who can effectively and safely use current production techniques and technological laboratory equipment (such as CAD/CAM and 3D manufacturing systems). PEA – 3: To educate individuals who can make fast, accurate, and evidence-based decisions in prosthetic materials and laboratory processes, and carry out technical applications in accordance with quality standards. PEA – 4: To educate graduates who follow scientific and technological developments in their field, adapt to professional innovations, and possess a lifelong learning perspective. Dental Prosthesis Technology Program Educational Targets Target 1.1: To gain the ability to correctly plan, implement, and evaluate the fundamental stages of prosthesis production (impression, model preparation, wax modeling, casting, porcelain application, and finishing). Target 1.2: To actively participate in teamwork by fulfilling roles and responsibilities effectively within the laboratory environment. Target 2.1: To use current technologies such as CAD/CAM systems and 3D manufacturing techniques in accordance with professional standards. Target 2.2: To coordinate laboratory materials and equipment properly and maintain workflow in a safe and efficient manner. Target 3.1: To develop decision-making and problem-solving skills by performing technical evaluations at critical stages of prosthesis production. Target 3.2: To carry out advanced prosthetic applications (such as implant-supported prostheses and aesthetic porcelain restorations) in accordance with proper procedures. Target 4.1: To gain professional awareness by participating in scientific and professional activities organized during the education period. Target 4.2: To follow scientific and technological advancements in order to sustain professional development after graduation. |
