Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives:	This course aims to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes about the role of the nurse working in operating rooms, which are different from other units of the hospital with their physical and technological structures, competencies and competencies, application areas and standards, the functioning of operating room units and evidence-based practices of operating room nursing.
Course Content:	The course includes basic concepts related to surgery and operating room nursing, historical development processes, roles and responsibilities of the operating room nurse and surgical team members, safe surgical practices, patient, employee and environmental safety principles, processes for tools, equipment and technologies used in the operating room and special surgical applications.
