Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The main purpose of this course is to examine what kind of changes are experienced in the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of individuals from infancy to old age in today's world where rapid changes (technological development, screen devices, artificial intelligence, etc.) and to discuss how individuals can be evaluated in terms of their quality of life.Students are expected to read and present at least 10 recent studies (in the last 10 years) on the topics they choose among the topics listed above, and to write a review article on the relevant topic to be delivered at the end of the semester.
Course Content: It will be discussed how the rapid changes in many areas in today's world (technological development, screen devices, artificial intelligence, etc.) affect the development processes of individuals. Research on this subject in the last 10 years will be reviewed.
