Course Objectives: | This course aims to enable the student to evaluate legal disputes that may arise regarding human health, and to interpret and apply legal regulations by taking into account the data of medical science. |
Course Content: | The content of the course consists of determining the medical intervention relationship and the parties' debts and responsibilities arising from this relationship, focusing on various concepts and institutions related to human health, and discussing the legal regulations regarding them. In this context, after examining the legality conditions of medical interventions of people authorized to practice medicine, the types of crimes related to medical activities in the context of Criminal Law will be taught. In addition, the establishment of a medical intervention contract, its execution, and liability in case of non-performance are also topics covered in the course. |

Knows the working principles of Radiodiagnostic, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy devices, distinguishes their parts and uses these devices in accordance with the instructions for use. Performs the examination in accordance with the procedures of radiodiagnostic and nuclear medicine imaging methods. Implements the radiotherapy treatment planned by the radiation physicist with the instruction of the Radiotherapy Specialist. It processes images obtained with radiodiagnostic, nuclear medicine imaging techniques and performs film printing. Evaluates the images obtained by radiodiagnostic and nuclear medicine imaging techniques in terms of radiographic quality. Knows the precautions to be taken against radiation in the working environment and applies the principles of radiation safety. As a medical imaging technician, he knows the laws, regulations, legislation and professional ethical rules related to his duties, rights and responsibilities and acts in accordance with these rules. | |||||||||||||
