Course Objectives:

This course aims to gain knowledge and raise awareness about sexual health, lifelong sexuality and its characteristics, sexual myths and facts, sexuality in special groups, and sexual dysfunctions on the basis of values, ethical principles and rights regarding sexuality.

Course Content:

To provide students with physical, emotional, intellectual, social and universal awareness about sexuality, which is a part of life; Recognizing one's own, healthy/ill individual's sexuality and sexual health needs; Helping students improve their sexual health knowledge and practices. In this regard, the course content includes; Topics include sexual values, ethical principles, physiology of sexual act, being able to talk about sexuality, sexual myths and facts, sexuality throughout life, sexual health in special periods, and sexual care services that the individual needs.
