Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide interior design students with computer-aided three-dimensional modelling and visualisation skills through Autodesk 3ds Max software. It is aimed to provide students with the necessary technical infrastructure to present their interior projects in a realistic and aesthetic way in digital environment. In this context, modelling of space fiction, material coating, lighting and camera usage and professional rendering techniques are taught.
Course Content: 3ds Max interface and introduction of basic tools, basic 3D geometries for interior modelling, modelling of interior elements such as walls, floors, ceilings and furniture, material assignment, texture coating and surface properties, interior-specific lighting techniques (natural and artificial light sources), camera placement, viewpoints and composition, rendering engines (corona) and realistic visualisation, practical studies on interior design projects, final project: modelling and presentation of an interior space chosen by the student
