| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide an overview focusing on the scientific study of behavioral and mental processes. Findings, new perspectives and theories on sensation, perception, attention, types of consciousness, learning, memory, thinking and problem solving are introduced along with the neurobiological basis of psychological processes. |
| Course Content: | Introduction to psychology, psychological research, evolution, genetics and behavior, neuroscience and behavior, sensation and perception, development, learning, memory and cognition. |
