Course Objectives: | The purpose of this course is to introduce the philosophical and physiological roots of psychology as well as early pioneers in the discipline and their influence on modern psychology. |
Course Content: | Philosophical and physiological influences on psychology, functionalism, applied psychology, behaviourism, gestalt psychology, psychoanalysis, humanistic psychology, positive psychology, cognitive psychology, evolutionary psychology. |
