Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide students with practical knowledge about the psychological effects of trauma, disasters and crises, related psychopathologies, therapeutic interventions used in these pathologies, and precautionary behaviors. |
Course Content: | Psychological effects of traumas, symptoms, basic dynamics in trauma treatment, emotional and cognitive interventions to trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder and post-traumatic development, taking precautions against disasters, psychoeducation in coping with disasters, public awareness of disasters. |
