Course Objectives: | IPE (International Political Economy) analyzes the relation between politics and economics by internalizing other disciplines. IPE, which has an interdisciplinary structure, examines the background of changes and problems in the World. |
Course Content: | Theoretical approaches (Realism, Liberalism and Historical Materialism) are analyzed in this course. In parallel with the conjuncturel changes, the relationship between Economics and Politics is discussed. In this context, topics such as the New World Order and Institutions created after the World War II (GATT, IMF, WB), the Establishment and Fall of the Bretton-Woods System, the World Trade System, and Globalization are evaluated. |
