Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: Teaching the main purpose of rehabilitation in cancer patients, planning and implementing appropriate physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs for the patient, producing solutions for the pain, physical, functional and psychological problems seen in cancer patients, gaining the ability to practice on understanding the lymphatic system disorders observed in post-cancer patients and these treatment methods this constitutes the aims of the lesson.

Program Outcomes
1) In the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, student can follow the current approaches in the literature and apply these gains in academic and clinical studies, along with having full knowledge of evidence-based basic assessment, evaluation and treatment.
2) In physical therapy and rehabilitation programs, student carries out his professional studies at the highest level, in the role of a physiotherapist, in an independent or multidisciplinary approach and within the framework of ethical principles.
3) Using his high research skills, student takes part in scientific research and projects, interprets the outputs of these studies based on appropriate statistical methods and realizes these outputs in the clinic.
4) Identifies clinical problems with his/her experience in different disciplines of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and uses his knowledge, skills and experience to solve these problems.
5) Has awareness and responsibility in public health issues and applies preventive and improving physiotherapy and rehabilitation interventions.
6) She/He has mastered at least one foreign language in the European language portfolio and uses this knowledge to improve himself and his profession in professional and academic studies.
7) By using the research skills in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, she/he approaches the interventions with a critical point of view, reaches the correct information and practices and uses them in her/his professional life.
