Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: To gain knowledge and skills to recognize and manage the complications that threaten the life of the mother and baby in the prenatal, birth and postnatal periods.
Course Content: This course; Course introduction Emergency obstetric care system. Legal regulations on emergency obstetric care. Rights and team approach, Communication and Counseling in emergency obstetric care., Management of hypertensive conditions in pregnancy and case discussion., Ministry of Health practices within the scope of standards in Emergency Obstetric Care services., Management of bleeding in pregnancy and case discussion., Management of unprogressive labor., Management of neonatal emergencies. ,Postpartum bleeding management.,Management of infections in AOB,Forensic Problems in Obstetric and Gynecological Emergencies,Blood transfusion.,Obstetric Triage,Example case; includes topics.
