Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: To provide the student with information about reducing the risks related to patient and employee safety in health institutions and organizations providing antenatal services, developing and disseminating the patient safety culture.
Course Content: Why Patient Safety? Why Employee Safety?, Legal Views and Responsibilities of Patient Safety, Basic Subject in Patient and Employee Safety: Hand Hygiene, Patient and Employee Safety in the Laboratory, The Role of Drug Safety in Patient Safety, Safe Working Environments and Employee Safety, Safety in Surgical Practices, Color Code Applications in Security, Safe Working Environments and Employee Safety, Patient Safety in Diagnosis and Treatment, Patient Safety Starts in Warehouses, Journey of Hospital Wastes, How to Increase Contribution of Healthcare Professionals to Safety, Safe Facility, Safe Hospital, Importance of Calibration in Patient Safety
