Course Objectives:

1. To be able to accurately describe the newborn with its anatomical and physiological features
2. Physiological, psychological and social dimensions of 0-6 years old childhood.
3. To be able to evaluate and interpret the 0-6 age period according to these known criteria.
4. To be able to define the diseases that are frequently encountered in the 0-6 age period and gain the ability to direct them correctly.
5. To be able to express midwifery attempts to prevent newborn problems and improve health,
6. To be able to identify high-risk newborns and gain the ability to develop an action plan for them.
7. Ability to communicate and work in harmony with healthcare professionals and team members
8. To be able to conduct scientific studies in the field of midwifery and newborn
