Course Objectives:

1. The student's ability to diagnose and evaluate risky pregnancies,
2. To be able to convey the physiopathology of risky situations of maternal origin,
3. Counseling for invasive procedures used in prenatal diagnosis,
4. To be able to list the necessary tests and indications for the biochemical and biophysical monitoring of the fetus
5. To be able to provide counseling in abnormal fetal situations detected in prenatal diagnosis,
6. To be able to express new technological developments in the diagnosis and treatment of risky pregnancies.
7. To have knowledge about evidence-based care and treatment of high-risk pregnancies today,
8. To be able to count the indications, contraindications and side effects of drugs to be used in risky pregnancies where drug use is required.

Course Content:

It is to learn the pathophysiologies that distinguish risky pregnancies from normal pregnancies and to provide counseling for invasive procedures used in prenatal diagnosis.

4) Follows risky pregnancies frequently and takes necessary precautions for midwifery care.
5) It analyzes the deviations from normal in the mother and fetus during the risky pregnancy process and gives appropriate care.
