Course Objectives:	To be able to learn the social factors affecting health and disease and to provide health services by taking social factors into account.
Course Content:	Historical development of health sociology, Subject areas, Illness phenomenon and patient role, Health-disease as a social service area, Cultural relations, Social relations, Economic and political relations, Patient-physician-nurse relationship, Patient-hospital relationship, Transcultural nursing model, Inequalities in health, health policies in Turkey, Medical ethics
