Course Objectives:	Student completed this course will gain the knowledge on diabetes nursing. This course will include the topics on prevention and management of diabetes, nursing care and education.
Course Content:	Diabetes nursing from national and global perspectives; diabetes epidemiology; nutrition, exercise, medication, insulin and other therapies in diabetes management; prevention and treatment of acute and chronic complications of diabetes; nursing care for people with diabetes; patient education; diabetes technology; teamwork in diabetes management.
