Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide students with information about the classification of drugs, mechanism of action, side effects and the relationship of pharmacology with diseases. |
Course Content: | ntroduction to pharmacology and basic concepts, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, Drug forms, Administration routes, Solution preparation, Introduction to the autonomic nervous system, Cholinergic system and drugs, Adrenergic nervous system and drugs, Cardiovascular system drugs, (Heart Glycosides, Antiarrhythmics, Diuretics, Antibiotics, Disinfectants , Introduction to the central nervous system, Sedative and Hypnotic Drugs, Alcohol, Anesthetic agents, muscle relaxants, NSAI, Drug use during pregnancy, breastfeeding and old age, Endocrine system pharmacology. |
