Course Objectives: To learn to create a personalized physical therapy and rehabilitation program in pediatric patients following appropriate assessment methods.

Introduction to Pediatric Rehabilitation, general evaluation methods in pediatric patients, normal motor development, reflex development, perception, comprehension and learning in pediatrics, motor learning and motor control, development of fine and gross motor skills, Cerebral Palsy, its classification and clinical features, evaluation in pediatric individuals with cerebral palsy and treatment, Bobath approach, Brachial Plexus pathophysiology, evaluation and rehabilitation, evaluation and rehabilitation in premature and risky infants, pediatric neuromuscular diseases, classification, evaluation and rehabilitation, torticollis evaluation and rehabilitation, mental retardation, evaluation and rehabilitation in infants and children with autism and down syndrome .

1) Has knowledge about pediatric neuromuscular diseases, classification, evaluation and rehabilitation.
2) Motor functions, sense, perception, cardiopulmonary system etc. in premature babies, newborn babies and children. can make evaluations and draw up the rehabilitation program.
3) Provide family education and home exercises to support the rehabilitation program of pediatric patients.
4) Explain the characteristics, classification, evaluation and treatment program of Cerebral Palsy, and draw the appropriate rehabilitation program for pediatric CP patients.

1) With the knowledge, knowledge and experience gained in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, he/she can evaluate his patients and draw up a personalized treatment program within the framework of professional and ethical principles.
2) After successfully completing the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation program, they can follow the current literature, evidence-based approaches and information as a physiotherapist and apply this information in the clinic.
3) With their knowledge and experience, they take part as an important part of the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team in the clinic and can organize the team adequately.
4) With their high research skills and equipment, they can take part in academic studies and projects, and can carry out these studies independently or in interaction with other professional groups.
5) They can use information technologies and devices required by the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and exhibit an open and creative perspective on new technological developments.
6) They identify problems related to their field, evaluate problems with a critical perspective, and offer solutions to problems with their analytical thinking skills.
