Course Objectives: |
To learn the basic principles of neurophysiological approaches, to develop muscle strength, balance, proprioception, coordination, flexibility and skill with proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques. |
Course Content: |
Neurophysiological approaches, concept of neuroplasticity, PNF techniques, hand contact in PNF, optimal resistance, body position, patient position, principle of force distribution, PNF patterns of upper extremity, lower extremity, neck, trunk, scapula and pelvis, facilitation and inhibition techniques, Mat exercises, walking exercises in PNF. |
