Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: This course aims to provide students with knowledge about the relationship between brain dysfunction and psychiatric disorders and a relatively sophisticated understanding of the neurobiological basis of mental illness.
Course Content: There is a substantial body of evidence supporting the contention that psychiatric disorders are associated with brain dysfunction. In this course, the relationship between brain dysfunction and mental illness will be examined. This course includes topics such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, anorexia nervosa, schizophrenic disorders, attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder and conduct disorder, autism spectrum disorder, dissociative disorders, and personality disorders.
