Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: This course provides practical experience in writing a research project in health psychology. Students are expected to plan a research in the field of health psychology (chronic pain, pandemics, eating disorders, disaster preparedness behaviors, etc.). In collaboration with the lecturer, they create a research design, describe research procedures and decide on the tests or measurement tools to be used. They write the research results as an article by reviewing the relevant literature. It is expected that the research project to be prepared is related to clinical psychology and has a cross-sectional design.
Course Content: Understanding the relations between the theoretical, research and application legs of a project in health psychology
- Organizing a research project
- Prepare a research proposal
-Making changes if necessary to present the project in the class
- Reviewing the literature and finding articles on the research topic
