Course Objectives: | The aim of the course is to explain puberty and adolescence in terms of sociological and psychological view point (identity devp.); to present essential major developmental features in cognitive, psychosocial behavior development of adolescence: to examine the relationship between adolescence family and peer groups based on cross cultural studies and Turkish society; to put forward the reasons of delinquency and risk behavior |
Course Content: | This course is planned to teach historical background and contemporary understanding of youth. How Physiological changes effects the other developmental areas of individual will be discussed. Development of identity,will be explained in terms of Erikson, Marcia. Risk taking behavior.Eating disorders and narcissism will explained in daily context |
