Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to increase the knowledge and attention of physiotherapy technician candidates who will serve the elderly people who will be encountered in the clinic by emphasizing the changes in geriatric individuals. |
Course Content: | The concept of aging; Aging theories; Basic physical needs and movement in the elderly; Vital signs in the elderly; Using the hot and cold modalities; Nutrition in the elderly; Communication, sleep and hygiene; Negligence, care problems and palliative care in the elderly. |
